Alyson and Brandon’s wedding at Salt Creek Beach was pure magic — their first look at the Ritz with the ocean behind them set the tone for the day: quiet, intimate, and full of emotion. Alyson in her simple, elegant white gown and cathedral veil and Brandon in a light blue suit were effortlessly timeless against the sandy shoreline, and with no wedding party the focus stayed completely on them. We captured golden-hour portraits on the beach that felt cinematic and tender as the light wrapped around them, and the reception outdoors kept that relaxed, warm vibe going into the evening. My favorite candid moments were small and honest — Alyson’s veil catching the breeze, Brandon stealing a look across the sand, and their golden doodle Sonny proudly carrying his ring-bearer duties with so much personality. It was an honor to document these unforced, luminous moments at Dana Point. Huge thank you to Rebecca of Rebecca Calagna Events for pulling off a seamless wedding with many moving parts. The entertainment provided by Extreme DJ was the perfect environment for the guests and the florals by The Bloom of Time were the perfect color pallette for a California beach wedding.
