A Fairytale Wedding at Sunrise: AJ & Joseph Say “I Do” at Disneyland
There are magical weddings, and then there’s this wedding—where love, pride, and pixie dust came together in one spectacular celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth. AJ and Joseph tied the knot in the early morning hush of Disneyland, before the gates opened to the public, standing hand in hand in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
As the first light painted the sky in pastel hues, AJ and Joseph exchanged vows beneath the castle’s soaring spires. Their rainbow-hued floral arrangements—an intentional and beautiful tribute to Pride—stood in joyful contrast to the castle’s soft pink and blue tones.
After the emotional “I do’s,” the celebration marched forward—literally! The couple led their family and friends down Main Street, U.S.A., soaking in every golden moment. As they reached the train station, they posed for a joyful group photo. But the surprises weren’t over.
Little did AJ know, Joseph had arranged something truly unforgettable: one of the Disney floats came rolling in, music playing and characters waving, as guests erupted in cheers and tears. It was a show-stopping moment that captured the magic and grandeur of their love story—pure Disney enchantment brought to life.
Later that evening, guests returned to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for a stylish cocktail hour and reception. Surrounded by the hotel’s rich Craftsman charm, the evening sparkled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor. Special character meet-and-greets gave the night an extra whimsical touch—imagine dancing with your partner and turning to see Mickey Mouse cheering you on!
But the magic didn’t end there. AJ and Joseph had one final surprise: everyone was treated to admission for World of Color, the breathtaking nighttime water spectacular at Disney California Adventure. After the last splash of color lit up the sky, guests were escorted to Paradise Pier, where they enjoyed exclusive access to rides, carnival treats, and more late-night fun.
From sunrise vows to nighttime thrills, AJ and Joseph’s wedding was a celebration of love in its truest, brightest form—a testament to what can happen when dreams, love, and a little Disney magic come together.
